Confirmation Program

• Classes run from Labor day to Memorial Day
• The curriculum is based on: Biblical Teachings, Catechism, Worship, Prayer Life and Christian Service. This serves as a foundation for a life long commitment to Jesus Christ.
• Service projects & class projects give students the opportunity to put their knowledge and faith to active use.
• Students participate in a one week immersion experience each summer.
• The mentor program pairs each student with an active adult member of the congregation to facilitate a well rounded understanding of active life within the congregation.
• A Pastoral Interview and retreat take place when classes are completed.
• The Rite of Confirmation takes place in the fall of the 10th grade year, on Reformation Sunday.
• Confirmands track their faith journeys in portfolios as a means of taking ownership of their Spiritual growth.
